I have been a bit lax in posting some illustrations lately, so rather than give each and every one their own page I’m going to post a few of them here.
These are all relatively new, drawn within the last 6 weeks or so. One of the new sort of ‘tricks’ I’ve started to use in illustrations like these is to make a copy of the line art, blur it, and multiply it over the crisp vector lines to soften and warm the piece that I think adds character itself.
My tool of choice – Clip Studio Paint – had a recent update that added a time lapse recording feature that can help show how the pieces are made. I’ve included one here:
